Steve Clarke - Managing Director |

Steve has been with Blackwell for many years after training as a civil engineer and has worked progressively from site manager to Managing Director as a result of his expertise in resource management. Steve’s main role is in the determination of the business strategy but he retains the responsibility in plant and equipment purchase from his former role as Contracts Director. |

John joined Blackwell in 1970 and was appointed to the Board of (Contracts) in 1984. He has over 40 years experience in civil engineering having worked progressively from Quantity Surveyor to Commercial Director. His responsibilities include commercial and legal activities within the Blackwell Group. John was appointed to the Group board in 2001 and is also a main board representative for and Director of the subsidiary and associated companies of HBR, CLC. Geofirma and JVS. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors. |

Keith Gooday - Company Secretary & Financial Director |

Keith has been with Blackwell since 1972 and was appointed Financial Director in 1987. Keith is a Group and (Contracts) Board Director and Company Secretary. He also sits on the boards of the majority of the subsidiary / associate companies either as Director or Company Secretary. He is responsible for the overall control of the financial administration of the Group. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. |
| Paul Smith - Civil Engineering Director |

Paul has been with Blackwell since 1973 having joined as a site quantity surveyor. After many years travelling with the site teams, Paul opened the South Wales regional office in Swansea from which he promoted early ventures into civil engineering infrastructure projects. Paul was promoted to the Board in 1996 and became Civil Engineering Director in 2003 whilst retaining responsibility for the Swansea and Swindon regional offices. |

Guy Pugh - Operations and Business Development Director |

Guy joined Blackwell in 1984 as a chartered civil engineer having spent his earlier years as a structural designer and project manager for new mines in South Africa. Guy has worked as both contracts manager and commercial manager before being appointed to the board in 1996. Since then he has been involved in the diversification of the business into new regions and activities. Currently responsible for operations within the remediation division as well as representing the group interests on the boards of HBR and Renaissance Land Regeneration, subsidiaries of Blackwell. |
| Bill Kettyle - Associate Director |

Bill joined Blackwell in 1979 as a quantity surveyor and has worked on many challenging schemes around the UK including civil engineering, earthworks and remediation as commercial or general manager. In 2006 Bill was appointed Associated Director and represents Blackwell’s commercial interests on the boards of Geofirma and CLC. |

Steve joined Blackwell in 1990 from John Mowlem as a quantity surveyor. He worked on various earthworks, civil engineering and remediation schemes before establishing and running the Northern Regional Office in Wakefield as Regional Manager, he was appointed Associate Director in 2006 and is also a director of Renaissance Land Regeneration. |

Niall is a chartered surveyor with a passion for earthworks equipment and its efficient utilisation. Having spent his formative years as a quantity surveyor and commercial manager he was appointed Associated Director in 2006 with the overall responsibility for the earthworks division. |

David is the non-executive Chairman, appointed initially by the founder to represent the family trust interests and subsequently re-appointed by the executive directors to provide an independent input into business governance and risk management. |
