Blackwell Foreman, David McCulloch has recently featured in the Aberdeen Evening Express - when the newspaper published his stunning photographs of bottlenose dolphins playing off the coast of Aberdeen.
While working on Blackwell's landfill remediation project in Cove, David has been going to the Torry Battery overlooking Aberdeen Harbour nearly every weekend to photograph the dolphins - who are attracted to the harbour by salmon coming from the River Dee.
A passionate amateur photographer since the age of 20, David has travelled all over the UK in his career and has taken the opportunity to capture pictures of everything of interest he finds. Commenting on his travels and passion for photography, David said: "I would stop and take pictures everywhere I went. I have seen lots of interesting things in my time...you should see my office, it's covered in the photos I've taken over the years."
Although his work has remained unpublished until now, David's talent for photography has recently earned recognition from various quarters. After his work was awarded two first places and a second place in last year's Spring Show in Duthie Park, he was encouraged to upload his images on the internet - where they have attracted a growing following and thousands of likes on the 'Aberdeen in Colour' and 'Scotland from the Roadside' Facebook pages.
Following the publication of his work in the Aberdeen Evening Express, David has also appeared on BBC1 Scotland and has been interviewed by local radio station, Northsound 1.
