Vosper Thornycroft Site wins award

At the Browndfield Briefing Innovation Awards on 22nd September 2009 our design partners, Campbell Reith won the 'Best conceptual design' category for the remediation of the former Vosper Thornycroft site in Southampton.

 

Campbell Reith kindly acknowledge HBR's input in the design and implementation of the trial process for removing asbestos contamination from soils by complex screening and washing.  The results of the trial then helped Campbell Reith agree methodologies with the Regulators and develop the specification for the subsequent site wide remediation project.
