Blackwell Earthmoving Division is the core business within the company. During the past 50 years of operations in motorway, rail, airport, reservoir and restoration contracts the company has established a reputation as a highly professional organisation producing consistently high quality workmanship.
The major strength of the division is the substantial core of management and plant resources available to undertake a variety of projects and to react quickly and efficiently to the inevitable changes on site. All works, whether undertaken as main or sub contractor, are managed by experienced professional construction staff assisted by trained supervisors and operators.
The available plant fleet of owned and operated equipment includes:
Excavators ranging from 14t to 85t, dump trucks ranging form 25t to 26t, dozers ranging from 60HP to 360HP, motor scrapers with twin or single engines, compactors, graders, rippers, bowsers, as well as specialist plant such as crushers, screeners and pugmills for processing or modification of unsuitable materials.
